Exhausted from trying to make everyone happy by sacrificing your own needs
while spending your life feeling invisible?
In just 2 hours, I’ll show you how to go from the invisible Good Girl who is killing herself making sure everyone else’s needs are met to being a Badass Woman who’s killin’ it.
Women are facing more burnout than ever in the workplace, and since the pandemic, have reported feeling even more invisible, stressed out, and overworked than ever before. And that’s just the beginning. They’re also:
Juggling a successful career with family, friendships, and time for self-care
Being overlooked for promotions more than ever because they’re even more invisible in our new virtual world
Considering taking a demotion, cut in pay, or quitting altogether because there’s nothing left to give
Which may not sound too bad, because being good is, well…good. Right???
Starting from birth, girls are taught to be nice, to want to be liked, and to make sure everyone else’s needs are met, even when it might mean making themselves overwhelmed, unhappy, and unhealthy.
In the process, we’re taught to fear conflict and do whatever it takes to appease everyone around us, while boys are trained to be direct, to hide their emotions, and to do what THEY want to do.
And never once did I realize that by being all these things, I was not gaining ANY respect, was not being considered for the promotions I wanted, and I sure as hell wasn’t proving to anyone that I was a badass.
It wasn’t until I was locked away in a bathroom stall at a swanky LA restaurant feeling crazy guilty over my crazy busy life that I realized EXACTLY what it was costing me. While I wanted to be at home with my sick daughter, I was having a schmooze-fest with clients because I wanted to be the Go-To Girl.
And I had an epiphany: the people around me didn’t ask me to do it all because they respected me. They asked because they knew I would get it done and they could go on with their lives. I was Reliable Marie, Doer of All the Things.
But what would happen if I said no? Would they still like me? Would I still be valuable to my team? How would everything get done?
I wasn’t giving them enough credit. If they truly wanted something done, they would find a way to make it happen. I was the Easy Button for them, but they’d figure it out… with or without me.
The thought rattled me to my core.
I joined coaching programs. I learned the earth-shattering, eye-opening new rules of my life that didn’t involve being good, liked, or overwhelmed. I made it my life’s mission to enjoy the freedom and success that the others in my life were living. I went to therapy.
And mind-blowingly, no matter how many boundaries I set, I find people still do like me. But more than that? They RESPECT me.
Through this incredible journey, I learned just how much influence our Good Girl training has on us. We not only learn that we have to be liked, but we learn that women who do stand in their power are seen as difficult, mean, and bitchy.
And what woman wants to be seen as difficult, mean, and bitchy?
That’s why I created Crazy Busy Women in Balance, and this live 2-hour workshop, The Good Girl Rebellion.
All it takes is a mindset shift to go from being the Good Girl to embracing your inner badass, and I can show you how it’s done in the span of a few hours. How would you like to:
...IF you get out of your own way and do the work. To do that, I’m going to share the mindset shifts, scripts, scenarios, and other ways that’ll give you the fuel you need to set that Good Girl Training diploma on fire.
It’s been 14 years since that evening I spent locked in a bathroom stall, feathered and tarred with guilt, and wishing for a way out of this mess that I alone had created. But now I know I had to live that moment to be the woman I am today:
The woman who is more successful in her career than ever.
The woman who says no without worrying if she will make somebody mad.
The woman who teaches other women how to ignite their lives to live an even bigger, badder, and more bitchin’ life than she ever gave herself permission to have.
I'm a warrior for women who need to stand in their power, and I founded Crazy Busy Women in Balance in 2018 to help women who are feeling stretched too thin to find clarity and an effective path toward success without sacrificing their dreams, priorities, or life!
As an entrepreneur and a single working mom, I understand the challenges that come from trying to find a work-life balance. I believe in supporting women and building meaningful connections with the women she coaches. I have helped numerous individuals and companies strategize and navigate communication as a strategic communicator, executive coach, media spokesperson, and business “therapist”.

You’ve either built or are building a successful career, and know that the sky is the limit for your dreams.
You think you’re a rock star volunteering super fast deadlines and fast turnaround times because you want your coworkers to be happy, all the while kicking yourself because you have no idea how the hell you’re going to pull this off.
You’re getting less and less sleep while getting more and more STUFF on your plate, and feel as if you’re carrying the weight of everyone around you… while simultaneously wearing your Busy as a badge of honor.
You find yourself plastering a smile on your face and saying, “I’d love to!” to new responsibilities, but inside you’re dying a little because you don’t know how or where you will fit in ONE MORE THING.
You feel validated and valued when people hand you more work, even though you wish it would just freaking stop.
You’re willing to DO THE WORK and will take what you’ve learned and run with it.
Rebellions aren’t for the faint of heart, sister. You have to make a commitment and live with integrity to it or none of this is going to work.
I remember a time in my life when the life I’m living now seemed like some far-off dream. The very thought of putting my needs first made my palms get sweaty, and the fear of disappointing somebody I respected overtook every decision I made.
It all felt so IMPOSSIBLE.
I’m living proof that it is possible, and my only regret is that I didn’t start doing this YEARS before. I think of all the time with family I could’ve had. The fun and friendships I didn’t have energy for. The stress and overwhelm that came with being a people pleaser.
You can’t turn back the clocks, and you sure as hell can’t keep living like this. Isn’t it about time you:
Reset. Recharge. REBEL.
Take life by the short ones, girlfriend. I’ll see you soon!
Marie
